looking good on opening with red fruits, firm tannins and some cedar and mint. Looks like a Coonawarra cabernet should. Day 2 and the wine was more integrated, compost leaf, stewed mulberry, and vanilla oak. Nice savoury firm tannins to finish. Enjoyed it so much.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of mint and rose and has flavours of sherry, black pepper and moldy cork - Opened and let breath for 45 minutes. The sweet spot for this rose syrup was too narrow for me to enjoy for the extent of the bottle.

{screwcap, 14.5%} Decanted and served. Lovely developing cabernet aromas; currants and cedary oak; drenched with an olive/tapenade tang. Plenty of depth of flavour, with a distinct Australian eucalypt tang to it; there are medium resolving tannins, medium-bodied weight, and a medium-long finish. Very tidy wine which doesn’t taste hot. Developing nicely, should be lovely for another five years at least.

Thick, chocolatey with cooked plums and black pepper. Took a while to open up, a bit disjointed on the finish but it solved itself over the course of the bottle. Needs more time.

A region you forget when it comes to fabulous Cab, this Coonawarra gem was fabulous - Black, full bodied with a nose of blackfruit, plum, cedar, euchalyptus and vanilla, big tannic structure, yet beginning to smooth out, sweet, yet dry on the palate with terrific length, excellent! (92 Points).

Forest fruits with blackcurrant, mint and berries on the nose. The palate is strong, rich and in balance with cedar, eucalypt, blackcurrant, dark cherry and some vanilla on the finish. Nice tannin structure which leaves you wanting another sip.

Saturated colour. Mint, chocolate covered cherries, blackberry and toast nose. Rich, full, warming palate; good acidity and length with fine Cabernet tannins to balance. 4.5/5

Really nicely evolved cabernet showing some secondary cigar box complexity. Beautifully balanced wine that only improved with some air.

Still very fruity, good tannins. Little too tart for me but a good food wine.

Lovely. Will continue to hold, but quite well integrated now. Drink by 2019.
