Time has treated this barolo well. Better than the first bottle I drank four years ago.2 hours slow decant in the bottle. Medium light garnet red. Aromas of violets and plum. Palate is smooth, elegant with medium complexity. Soft tannins.

100% CabSauv. Dark red/purple. Tobacco, leather and fruit in the nose. Harmonious and elegant. Nice finish, but tannins still somewhat harsh. Still young, this will improve over the next decade.

Very well made 2nd wine of Chateau Leoville Barton. Very much St Julien. Two hours slow decant. Red fruit and spices. Velvety and balanced. Medium tannins. Very good to drink now

When we were in Venice last year, we found a wonderful wine bar which specializes in Amarone wines. We don't get a good selection of Amarone in the US so we were excited to find a great Amarone source (who ships to the US).
