Boooooring. Wow, the 2012 does not live up to the 2008 I had a few months ago. It's not young, or needs to develop, it's just a poor wine. I still can't believe PJ puts meunier in their prestige cuvee, but after a sniff it was obvious. Tech sheet says 5% meunier, it tastes like much more than that.
You're better off going with Laurent-Perrier or Taittinger brut non-vintage for 1/3 the price.
Had this at a friend's house, he got it as a gift. Mid-quality wine, general lack of flavor; we stoppered and left it in the fridge. Another friend polished it off as a cocktail topper, it didn't ruin the cocktails.
Actual taste-based value: $45

Do not recommend for drinking, gifting, sharing or toasting. One could consider for celebratory spraying on a podium, but the risk of it getting into someone's mouth are just too great -- I wouldn't want that on my conscience.
decent color, marginally fresh, some toasty notes that dissipated quickly. Wine tasted dead after the bottle was open for 25 minutes.
Overall, this is garbage at the retail price. At $35-40 this would be an acceptable wine.
Most likely from Cumières, Champagne Philippe Martin; their other wines are under 35 euros.

Tastes like marketing.
