Wonderful nose of red fruits, Gamey meats and sweet bell pepper. Stored in a cold cellar. Still could drink for a few more years, great balance. Not too Much oak on the nose. Loved this wine. Not Bordeaux, unique in it's own way.

*Tasting Not Blind* My first tasting of any wine from this winery, and I haven't had many straight Cab Francs from Cali. Some light floral notes on the nose, and a subtle hint of perfume. Beautiful red fruit, followed up by allspice notes. On the palate it was full and rich. Decent balance between the acidity and alcohol with enough fruit and tannin to match. Would have liked a little more acidity from this varietal, but was still ok. Easy to drink and a well made wine all-around.

*tasted blind* Typical notes of petrol, lemon curd, chalk, lime and green apple sauce. Zippy acidity on the palate balanced with a touch of residual sugar and tons of fruit. Long, fruity, minerally finish. Amazing example of what Niagara can, and should be. Great effort.
