This got lost in my cellar and I don’t know where it came from. Deep red with thin brick edge. Green olive, blackberry, pine nose. Well concentrated, fruit and leather palate. Acid is prominent as are the oak and and tannin. Flavourful wine but best with food in order to soften the pokey bits.

Typical Coonawarra cab, nice notes of cassis, blackberries, eucalyptus and even some spice/pepper. Great mouthfeel, lots of dark fruit, well-balanced. Definitely not jammy. Finish was ok, but not spectacular. Very food friendly, especially around the bbq. Retails for ~$15.00. Worth it.

Wine Education Service - Australia - Local Heroes (South Hampstead High School): Just translucent, a hint of age.
A bit dumb on the nose, a little unidentifiable fruit eventually emerges.
Fruit with an almond tinge, good acidity, slightly dusty/mushroomy, meaty, fairly long.
