About 4cm ullage but upon cutting the foil noticed no signs of seepage so I was hopeful knowing bottles can be hit or miss. Nose full of ripe fruit and a touch of the famous "étable de Beaucastel" which either dissipated over time or I got acclimated to (though by no means was the barnyard smell overpowering). Silky smooth on the palate...very earthy and leathery. The finish lasts 30 seconds. This was excellent and I will try it again in the near future; based on this bottle it is drinking beautifully but there is not much more room for aging.

Popped the cork three hours before drinking. Nose was quite good but not anything special/unique for a red Bordeaux. However, the taste is where this wine excels...my thoughts after the first sip were "wow, that's damn good." Smooth tannins and an oak presence that is not overpowering allow the fruity notes to shine through, and the finish goes forever. Drinking very well now. Spur of the moment purchase that worked out better than I expected and I will probably be getting a few more bottles.

Decent but not overpowering nose of ripe red fruit (strawberries and raspberries come through especially). Strong oaky flavors on the palate that fade into notes of cherry. Nothing extraordinarily complex with a short finish.
