What a surprise! Based on the early drinking date for this wine, I expected it to be flat or one dimensional. However this wine is both complex but still young with a good balance of acidity and tannis, though a bit light on the fruityness. This wine is still young, and has many more years to go in the cellar and will be even better. I'm predicting a drinking range of 2015 to 2025. Remember this vintage (2005) ranked a 100 at WS for many parts of the world, including Bordeaux, so even small vintners can make great wine with those grapes.

Just starting to pass it's prime. Time to finish up what you have or give away as gifts, but not to your wine snob friends.
