Intense floral perfume with strong notes of lychee, violets, honeysuckle, apricot and melon. Palate is well rounded, rich with some very subtle oak and crisp minerals. Excellent example of this northern Rhone delight. Drinking well now and I suspect for 3-4years.
Red fruits, pepper and spices giving way to salted licorice. Tannins more rounded than expected - drinking well now and will profit from 2-3 years laying down. This wine reminds me of a croze-hermitage rather than a typical Aussie Shiraz.
Red fruit nose with a hint of oak. Palate revealed red and dark fruits followed by pepper with a hint of tobacco and soft tannins lingering in the mouth. Drinking well now and was a perfect compliment with fine aged Australian beef.
