very deep black-red, still youthful for age, richly fruity on the nose and even more so on the palate, so rich that it borders on being a little rustic and coarse, certainly flavoursome though, went well with rich beef liver

screw top, has managed to attain some maturity since last tasting which has been to its advantage, rich nose, good but not really with much finesse or class, palate also rich, on the nose cool fruit but on the palate rather warm with some alcoholic burn (15% !), OK and drank well with rich deer casserole but I cannot get too excited, not so disappointed that there is only one bottle left

Still very youthful, almost opaque colour with purple hints, nose also youthful, rich sweet fruit, some eucalyptus, gaining complexity, palate also with deep and concentrated sweet fruit with good acid and tannin balance, a bit simple and straightforward, will leave the last two bottles to see if age brings complexity or if it just loses the fruit that at the moment dominates

Tasted at 16C, no decanting. Rubis with some brick. Aged nose, mushroom and forest floor. Finish a bit short, good for a sub $AUS20 wine. A good way to find out if you like aged wine without breaking the bank. Not sure it's going to last much longer.

Decent Shiraz; dark in colour; little bit of dark red fruits on the nose; medium bodied with some acidity; some fruit but lacking the power of better Heathcore Shiraz; finish is short. Coming to the end of its best drinking years most likely.
