Nose: ripe, opulent aromas of figs, graphite, black berries and butter. Taste: ripe prunes, black berries, a little bit of earth. Well developed wine with fine tanins and acidity perfectly balanced. Smooth texture and long pleasant aftertase. A true delight of a wine!
I could not agree more. My friends and I have drunk several of these and to think that I paid around $25 for this. It is better than most of the bourdeaux I have been drinking at multiples of this price. Bravo !

Very short decant. This was excellent from look to nose to finish. My bottle was in its prime. Finely balanced medium body bourdeaux. I hope yours is as good.

I purchased this yesterday and drank it last night. I believe it has lived on a shelf not under temperature control. The cork was dry. Upon opening and pouring into a decanter the fragrance was big, fruity and excellent. The color was good w no sign of oxidaton. I was enthusiastic. As I got to the end there was sediment. First taste was not so good. I hoped an hour or more of air would help, and it did but the wine never soared. Sadly, I think my bottle was over the hill w taste beginning to take on a mildly sour tone. On day two it was ready for the garbage. Perhaps my bottle was flawed ?
If you have these I suggest drinking them now unless they have been stored under perfect, cool, dark conditions.
