The wine is medium/deep golden color, medium plus viscosity. On the nose, the wine gives off an aroma rich in sweet tropical fruit and honey with some floral undertones. The tropical fruit notes are uncanny. On the palate the tropical fruit flavors dominate from start through its medium-long finish with little other detectable flavors. There is quite a bit of residual sugar and little acidity to cut through the sweetness, leaving the the wine off-dry to semi-sweet. Medium plus body.

Note: This ios for the Bordeaux Style Wildwood Blend, not the Ginko Red but I cannot figure out how to properly create a new wine in the databank.

The wine is an opaque ruby with slow, medium width tears coming down the side of the glass. Viscosity is medium plus to high. The nose is a bomb of blueberry and blackberry with some darker red berry fruit and earthy aromas reminiscent of stone. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium plus body. Medium acidity, medium tannin. Much like the the nose, the wine is very fruit forward but not as over the top as I would have expected. Blueberry, blackberry, with some tart black cherry. Flavors linger in the mouth for a good bit, 15+ second finish with residual fruit flavors. The stony earthiness is there, but makes little impact. The wine is well structured, but rather one dimensional.

The wine is a pale ruby with a higher concentration of color than I expect from Pinot/Burgundy. Viscosity is medium high. High concentration and complexity of aromas. Bright raspberry and cranberry with some oak characteristics in the background. There is so much going on with this I can't accurately describe it with my limited knowledge of aromas and flavor profiles. On the palate the wine is bursting with cranberry and sour cherry flavors. Medium-full body, medium-high acidity, and at this age medium-high tannin with a lot of grip on the finish. The wine is bone-dry. The fruit really shines on this wine without being over-bearing, but I wish the non-fruit flavors would come through more. The oak doesn't really show up so I'm guessing there isn't too much new oak. Overall, I'm pleased with this even if it wasn't what I was expecting.
