The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like vanilla, walnut, green beans, lemon and pineapple. It tastes like honeydew, pineapple, banana, vanilla, oak, alcohol/hot and butterscotch. The body is full. The wine has oily texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.
75% Grenache, 25% Syrah: deep ruby color, light nose with blackberry jam, flint and slate and bay leave aromas. The first attack is ripe rich fruit followed by cassis and balsamic elements. High alcohol. Slightly meaty and chewy texture. Great wine.
60% grenache 20% Mataró 20% syrah Screwcap inox no oak. Reduction then opened up, spicy monastrell notes In mouth the mataro is very present as far as flavor characteristics go. Medium plus body, long finish, excellent. I'd be interested to see how it ages and how long it will be good for? It was already a 2009 and still seemed youthful once it opened up. With the screw cap it seems like it could age at least 10 years more
