Dark red, brilliant color. Rich blueberry, chocolate, spice, tobacco aromas, and flavors. A medium to full body Syrah, smooth tannins, delightful mouthfeel with a lingering finish. An exceptional American Syrah from perhaps one of our greatest winemakers in Bob Betz MW. Wayne C

I drank this is 2019 after overlooking the wine in my cellar. I was surprised at the wines lingering structure. My records indicate to drink by 2014 but would add if superb wines are well cellared they can still show well. Doug you and team did well.

Enjoyed this wine in a blind Cabernet Tasting Jan 2020. Garnet color with rich black currant, blackberry, flint, and coffee aromas. Full-bodied, balanced, luscious mouthfeel, complex wine has improved with age and likely to continue for another 3-5 years. An exceptional cabernet sauvignon with a long finish with black fruit, cherries, and hints of vanilla on the palate. Caymus continues to demonstrate masterful winemaking skills in an exceptional organization.
