This has a discrete nose that opens up a bit with time and temperature. Slightly polished and also a touch of sweetness. On the palate it has a fairly high acidity that gives a tight and narrow felling with not much place for the fruit at the moment. Fine tannins though and very well balanced. I find it elegant but also in need for 3-5 years to unfurl and gain complexity.

Killer nose. Has this floral magic of great pinots or maybe Chave Hermitage. In the mouth it’s so gentle and so fresh, yet with excellent weight. Extremely finely woven tannins adds a luxurious and comfy feeling. Tasted alongside 2021 which is quite similar in style. These wines are adorable.

No harsh acids that I sometimes find in these wines when too young, this is now perfectly smooth and transparent. Light pinot character with a touch of milk chocolate, red fruits, herbs. There is a slight dryness on the back finish but it’s not really disturbing. I suspect this will drink well for a long time.
