I can honestly say this was one of the best bottles of wine I have ever had. Took it to Nick & Stef's Steakhouse. Nose of tobacco and mushrooms. The wine still had a strong backbone of alcohol, tannins, and acidity, paired by notes of dark fruit, blended in a dusty/earthy flavor profile. Classic Bordeaux, it has that taste that reminds me of other wines I've had from that region. Tons of depth, smooth as hell, and just delicious all around. Loved it. Thank you to my father who kept it in his cellar in Switzerland for many years, he was kind enough to gift it to me.
Very pleasant wine, drank well on its own, me and my girlfriend split a bottle while watching a movie. Well-balanced, not too tannic or hot on the alcohol. Light berries present. Very good for $13 or whatever I paid for it at Trader Joe's.

Very big wine, hot on the alcohol. Didn't seem like the most balanced wine. There is enough fruit there to give it some flavor with a nuanced finish. We had it with pasta, I suggest you drink it with food.
