In a great spot right now. What a great value! Smooth but still with structure to pair with a good meal. Nice fruit with loads of savory herbal notes and minerality. Wish I had more!

Just lovely. REally nice colour,. Smokey, olive, mineral, meaty blackberry and currant nose. Palate is smooth and ripe with lovely balance, more currant and berry fruit, nuanced and delicious, with some smokey notes on the palate as well. Excellent finish.

Wow, what a surprise. Salinity, umami, great mouthfeel. This is really in the zone. Does it get better from here? Not sure but doubt it. Does feel like it holds here for a while though.

Some olives on the nose. I get a hint of the olive brine rocks district Syrah on this. Not overt but just enough to provide some complexity. Dark blue fruits. Nice crunch to provide balance. Spice. Very nice effort. A great QPR at < $20 a bottle from Garagiste.

If someone said, “Give me a great baseline introduction to Washington Syrah,” I’d give them this. Delicious black fruits but with that unmistakable olive brine and sneaky acidity (for age 8). Such a good wine and an amazing value.
