Tasted out of the bottle with and without aeration. Aerated wins as usual. Light color but bright red cherry flavors initially. Over the next couple of hours the bright fruit disappears and becomes more earthy. Very good wine but finish is short. Can probably hold for a few more years. Didn't match very well with huevos rancheros for lunch today but still enjoyable. I don't usually write tasting notes but I don't want Bevetroppo to feel alone. Three more bottles left.
Tasted next to Adrianna Trapiche single vineyard and other Malbecs. This still has tannins to resolve and should continue to improve in the bottle. Great wine with full body and lots of upside potential. Will hold my bottles for a few years to look for that integrated fruit/earth smooth palate.
