1/26/2019 10:11:00 AM - Thanks for becoming a fan of my TNs. I appreciate your experience with some varietals (esp. Zin) that I'd like to drink more of. If you're into Washington reds, esp. Syrah, then seek out some of the wines by Christophe Baron -- Cayuse, No Girls... They can be a bit overdone (a la SQN), but some are just mouth filling goodness.

10/14/2018 8:17:00 AM - At time I did my profile (quite a while back) I was looking to taste every decent Washington red at Central Liquors in Flemington NJ - by far the best wine shop in that region (at that time). Since then I've done projects of tasting every Spanish red (incredible garnachas), petite syrah and zin at Total Wines. Almost done with the zins. I went back to the tasting notes from my Washington red project, and most of my top rated Washington reds were higher end syrahs and syrah blends. You can sort my tasting notes to see the producers. Washington does such a good job with syrah, one of my very favorite grapes. I think you've pointed me towards my next project - thanks!
