11/28/2022 1:07:00 PM - Would you mind sharing where you found a bottle of the 1999 Ganevat Vignes de Mon Père?

12/21/2019 8:24:00 PM - Totally agree with you that every wine experience is a unique one... but I do believe the details of those experiences, objectively observed, can be useful over time both for myself looking back and forward as well as for others who may be wondering how a wine is progressing. To be sure each experience is sensory and related to many factors like personal preferences/biases, company, place, food, decanting or not, quality of Provenance, etc! It does seem, however, that you and I have many bottles in common as well as regions and probably, from what I can tell, similar palates. I would like to see more of the details in your notes, given those probable similarities, as it would be one more reliable input, much more so than the pro reviewers who are tasting a hundred wines a day and so young that their palate consistency is highly questionable (not to mention some of their ethical objectivity). Conclusions are more useful when the details leading to them are transparent. I find it helps me judge how that conclusion will influence my drinking behavior. I look forward to following your notes!
