I'm always sketchy of Bordeaux blends grown and aged so high up from the valley floor. I've been to Cain and the last 12 bottles I paid for were....were just mediocre. However this bottle was fantastic a mear 13 yrs later...fancy that. Acidity down with all the fruit and ethereal components showing. I've found this with Pinot on the high Sonoma Coast. Hirsch etc. ...it takes time

Sorry you didn't love the Minick Syrah. I would like to replace your 2008 Minick with something that you will love. Please send me an email at info@gramercycellars.com with shipping details and I will get something out to you. Thanks so much!

As noted by others, opened way too young. I've been enjoying this blend from Ridge for over 20 yrs. Luckily there's more bottles for the 2020's!

Great wine yet unremarkable next to our Rudd and Flowers Pinot. Drink now, no decanting required.
