I let it breathe in the bottle for 2 hours. Nice bouquet. Medium-bodied, medium finish, integrated tannins, good balance, and basic structure - but not too complex. Elegant flavors of red cherry, blackberry, cassis, vanilla, and a hint of earthy tobacco. Drink this vintage now. This was a great value for $ 15, nice everyday drinking wine.

I probably should have decanted based on the amount of sediment, but no harm, no foul. I let it breathe in the bottle for 90 minutes. Nice bouquet, with red fruit and some earth. The structure and balance were well done. Elegant, which in my mind means it cannot be truly full-bodied & powerful but rather a strong medium-bodied wine approaching full-bodied. Nice flavors of cherry, minerals, earth, and vanilla, with a hint of raspberry. Medium-long delicious finish. Tannins have mostly integrated, so I think it is at its peak. This was my first exposure to this Chateau and I look forward to tasting more of its wine.

Enjoyable bouquet. Interesting flavors of cherry, currant, damp earth, and tobacco leaf with hints of vanilla. Good structure. Tannins still present. Medium-bodied and medium finish. I was thinking this 2019 was still too young to open - it is good now, but I would hold it until 2025 so the tannins can soften a bit more. A good value. 88.5 rating.
