Not sure what happened in '03, but this wine is phenomenally good. It has enticing dark fruit and earthiness on the nose. Medium-bodied, with lovely plum, blackberry fruit and nice integration of oak/tannin and a beautiful balance with acidity. Extremely elegant with cedar and anise notes emerging during the smooth, lingering finish.

Definitely showing its age, as the color is starting to turn brickish at the edges. But still shows a fragrant nose of cherry fruit and a bit of baking spice. Medium-bodied, it displays cherry fruit with some plum, and develops some earthy (herbal?) and baking spice notes towards the lingering finish. Mellow tannins and bright acidity give it nice balance and freshness. I can’t say I remember how fruit forward this wine was the last time I drank it, but it’s incredible that it’s still quite lovely so many years later...

Not bad. It has a peachy strawberry nose, with a flowery component underneath. Medium-bodied (which is a bit weightier than I expected for this rosé), it’s still quite juicy with strawberry, peach and pear fruit with nice minerality and acidity. I think I prefer the Summer in a Bottle rose just because its flavors are a bit more pronounced, but this was perfectly nice
