Dark purple in color with an earthy nose. Dark fruit flavors with cedar and tobacco notes with a medium to long finish. Good balance and acidity and as with wines of age had some sediment. Got better after an hour of time in the glass. Drinking well now but may have had a few more years. Went really nicely with a prime angus NYStrip steak dinner.

Very perfumed nose of dark fruit and vanilla. Full-bodied and big, there were gobs of rich, sweet blackberries, currant, chocolate, vanilla oak. Supple tannins and enough acidity to keep the wine from being overly fruity & flabby. Very tasty.

Just perfect. Just a bit past prime but great noneyheless, definitely mature but still the great curves .
