What’s interesting about this wine is that it keeps evolving. Citrus nose and nice nice balanced acidity. Pop corn too. Chardonnay in Italy at its best

High acidity can age a lot longer. This had the right amount of butter that was oak driven. Florals, reductiveness. Long finish. Amazing and can age longer

2/1/2021 9:27:00 AM - Hi there. I posted the message below as a comment to one of your TNs, but wanted to repeat here. It is presented in good faith as a member of the CT community.
There was another note in which I and another CT user commented on your "low" score (in the low-70s). I got your reply via email before you deleted that and wanted to chime in and hopefully be helpful.
The "100-point" scale is confusing and not everyone uses it the same. Some CT users are influenced by the very obvious "score inflation" by several "professional reviewers" - James Suckling comes immediately to mind as does Jeb Dunnuck. It's not uncommon to find wines they've rated in the mid-90s getting lots of CT user scores in the upper-80s to low-90s, but some CT users have gotten into the mindset that anything below 90 somehow isn't good.
I, like many other CT users, try to really follow the 100-point scale as described by the CT platform. You can read about it here (and there is a link to it next to the field where you enter your score on the CT TN screen).

You'll note that the bottom of the scale is 50, not zero! Strange, but true. It's got a long history...
Many of us would very much disagree that "85-90 is considered Low" - look at the scale that CT describes. 85-90 is the "Very Good" range.
(Also, some CT users use the score to capture QPR - they are not scoring the absolute quality / enjoyment / technical detail alone, but adjusting that based on the price paid. I, along with many other CT users do *not* do that. We use the scale as described and use the TN text to comment on QPR.)
I hope this helps!

A lot of tropical notes and even more on the palate. Medium acidity and lots of complexity continues after the initial taste. Finish is a bit short
