This really opened up in the glass to display a beautiful expression of Margaux. Expressive floral and red fruit aromatics, and loads of fruit and earth on the palate. Such a great example of the vintage and appellation.
A powerhouse. Still wrapped up in a blanket of firm tannins, this is only just starting to reveal dense, dark berry fruit with layers of licorice, kirsch, and creme de cassis. The finish is savory. Tons of grip. Drink until 2021.
