First impression: Depending on the lighting, this wine has a color from deep garnet to a brilliant ruby.
The nose is rich and balanced, showing a little smoke, currants, and berries.
In the mouth: cherry, currant, lightly smoked, touch of vanilla, touch of chocolate. Very balanced, even flavor. The tannins are medium and pleasent when the wine is moved around the mouth. The finish is creamy and faint, with only a touch of "rubbing alcohol" scent in the glass as it is sipped again...
I like this wine alot. It is everything I would expect from a quality cab. It is a very safe and solid glass of wine.

First impression: This looks a little light for a cab. When viewed from below with the light in the background, this wine has a sort of dark rose color, with a creamy complexion to it.
Nose: there is a small hint of oak with a whiff of strawberry.
There is al most no acidity to this wine. There are medium tannins.
On its own this wine feels a little unbalanced, but pairs well with something that holds up the tart end to counteract the full mouth feel and the dusty concentrated fruit qualities.
OK food wine: 80 Points

First impression: Nice even color with some moderate viscosity.
Nose: Nice hints of chocolate, currants, and deep raspberry.
Palate: Lush front end with plenty of fruit, followed by a very nice finish featuring chocolate and espresso beans.
Very well balanced combination between the bitterness of the finish and the sweet fruit. Tannins are medium-high. You definately feel it on the lips and tongue.
Thouroughly enjoyable wine. 91 points
