A little hot, some earthy notes on the nose and some ripe red fruit; a little heavy. Fairly delicate on the palate with tart red cherry, unripe raspberry, and a very light hint of vanilla
Subjectively, I'd buy it again to see how it changes over time, probably not a regular cellar addition.

Really quite nice! Decanted for 1 hour. Prominent oak with spicy notes reminiscent of yellow cedar, ripe plum and dried apple finish the nose. This wine is very balanced with a full and rounded body. Lots of fruit and a long finish make this very enjoyable. Acidity and body are strong enough for several years in the cellar. Not sure if I would leave it another 20 years, but 7 to 10 for sure. Regardless of cellaring potential, it is a very enjoyable bottle right now.
