First from a 6 pack, following a bottle of Jadot Duc de Magenta 1er C-M Morgeot ‘14 a few nights previously. Lemon with some orange blossom on the nose, saline, rich and unctuous in the mouth - long, long finish, with sufficient residual acidity to suggest a few ( 2-4? ) years left at this ( entry point ) peak. This will never be a great wine, but it is very, very good + will leave ABC naysayers struggling for justified criticism. In contrast, the D de M was fractionally richer in the mouth, and perhaps half a pip superior. Delish..

Fifth bottle of six, impression consistent with previous bottles. Deepish yellow-green in the glass, honeysuckle, jasmine + a touch of ginger on the nose. Huge, almost Californian style in the fore and mid note ( Kongsgaard-esque? ), but with more than enough residual acidity to clarify from which side of the pond it emanates. Unexpected fleshy/full mouthfeel, slightly reminiscent of a rich Meursault ( Sauzet before he became woke ? ). Long ( 45 second ) afternote. A treat - drink by 2022 ( tops ).
