Decanted for three hours only to find the bottle had been cooked. A real disappointment. I have three more bottles and I certianly hope the first was the exception and not the rule.

Having visited the winery and met the winemaker, I should have been prepared for what a got from this bottle: a stange pinot. This effort definitely lacked the fruit forward nose and fore pallate typical of Willamette pinots. Good midpalate flavor weakened by a short finish. There have to be 25 Willamette pinots from 2003 that are better than this.
