2011 is a light-footed vintage in my view, and this wine is also missing a bit in depth and concentration compared to other vintages. It is however still fine and I highly appreciate Claveliers ability to keep a freshness and elegance on the quite heavy Corton terroir. The wines shows notes of aging with some starting fungal notes, but still have a light blueberry fruit, and a little touch of burned coffee beans. It fades out a bit on the mid-palate but has a good freshness in its acidity. Will not keep my last bottle much longer though as I would be doubtful if the fruit will stay much longer.

Fruity and straight forward wine. Black Currant very expressed with hints of Sous bois, nice fruit acidity and silky tannins. Open and definately in the drinking window, but best on day one, telling that it might not do good to wait to long with drinking up.

Needs some air but then as it right on opening appears a little reductive, but once open the more classic PYCM flavors comes forward - lemon curd, grape fruit, spices. Quite concentrated and a good acidity. Drunk together with Caroline Morey 2020 Chassagne Chambrees, which was more floral and elegant, where PYCMs was more powerful and fruity. A great village, and in my view one of the wines in PYCMs line-up that provides the best quality for the price. Tastes good now - but will continue to develop fine for many years.
