Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Brick red. Tannins have rounded out. Nose earthy, campfire. Medium body, moderately expressive with a long finish. Palate demonstrates flavors of dried cherry, dill/herrbs, and something sweet/dry like raisins at the end. Very enjoyable, even if it is a bit past its prime.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like plum, strawberry, blueberry and honeysuckle. It tastes like cherry, grapefruit, cranberry, black pepper and chalk. The body is light/medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Tasted just after decanting: Pale red with edges of brown in color. Ripe cherry nose. Thin mouthfeel and not particularly tannic (moderate). VERY tart and angular wine. High acidity: red currant, cherry. Finish: short, bitter notes, but not harsh
3 hours after decanting: same
