Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Brick red. Tannins have rounded out. Nose earthy, campfire. Medium body, moderately expressive with a long finish. Palate demonstrates flavors of dried cherry, dill/herrbs, and something sweet/dry like raisins at the end. Very enjoyable, even if it is a bit past its prime.

Gorgeous grassy, cedar, herbal nose. Palate wonderfully complex with a light and delicate flavour. Reminds me of a Sangiovese - there is lots going on and all of it is delicious and refreshing. Really excellent and a million miles from my expectations of what a 2003 st emillion would offer. 93
