If you told me this was secretly a Grand Cru Burgundy with a fake Oregon label, I’d believe you! Slightly reductive at first, but opened up quickly with notes of yellow apple, lemon zest, white flowers, wet stone, butter and hints of toast. Energetic on the palate, with a bright acidic backbone and a long, nuanced finish with lots of freshness and depth. More elegant and mineral, and less oaky that Californian Chardonnay. Can easily handle another 5-8 years, but why wait?

Always a treat trying wines from this producer! Powerful and expressive nose with white floral notes, lemon, pear, creamy vanilla, butter, chalky minerality and hints of bonfire. Big and round palate with lots of concentration, balanced with youthful fresh acidity and a long mineral driven finish. As far as white Burgundy goes, this is on the richer and fuller bodied side, without being overly oaky. Well balanced and complex. Delicious stuff!

Slightly reductive at first, but intense and complex after opening up. Yellow apple, melon, pear, butter, wet stone and oak. Surprisingly crisp palate considering how developed and rich the nose is! Long layered finish. Perfectly balanced and drinking well now, but will get better in 2-3 years.
