Loved the 2005 but was very disappointed when I tried the 2006 about 10 months ago. When tried again now, this wine has significantly improved with age. Tannins have integrated, bitterness has subsided and is showing nicely rounded fruit of cherry and blackberry. Worth another look.

Eucalyptus, mint, coco powder and all the things you expect from Thackrey. I have always been a fan of his unorthodox wines, but this one is not withstanding the test of time. All that other funk seems to be taking over the essence of the grape, with little left. Drink it now.

Echo other notes. Outstanding QPR in a solid Mt. Veeder cab. Excellent potential for more age. Gotta get more of this one and the 2007.
