- Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of hay/straw, prune and black currant. It's balanced and has flavours of tea with a light/medium body. Fleshy texture with a medium finish.

This is a Parker special. This is a MASSSIVE concentrated wine, with no end to thickness and extraction. At 16.5% alch, this wine is not shy. It IS port in a dry wine guise. Thick and unyealding on the palate. If you want sophistication, this wine is NOT for you. I would say this wine is definitely out of balance as its off its rocker with MASSIVENESS, and for me looses quite a few points for this. This wine stays massive 3 DAYS after opening. The wine is not overoaked, but is overextracted. Plum liqueur/blackberry/creme de cassis/thick cola on the nose and palate. Some molasses notes in terms of palate and mouthfeel. Almost sweet on the palate. Fruit completely overwhelms any rough edges that might otherwise be apparent.

Expansive fat fruit. Acid is not prevalent enough to balance out all the fruit. As expressive as it ever will be. Candy and smokey finish.
