Weird and wonderful. On the nose: Whoppers chocolate malt balls, espresso, tar, maraschino cherries, cedar, donut shop, and maple syrup. In the mouth, it has sweet vanilla, tobacco, rose hips, and rooibos tea. I don't know what to recommend drinking this with. Perhaps on its own after dinner? But it's not a dessert wine, nor is it fortified. Whatever, I love it.
Note: this winery is a client of my company's, but the notes are entirely my own.

Reminiscent of Hermitage. Brambly, with clove, sweet pipe tobacco, espresso, graphite and cassis on the nose. Cacoa, white pepper, green tea and sanguine on the palate.

On the nose, it's like a dusty walk in Provence: garrigue, lavender, oregano, thyme, anise, and dried currants. On the palate, there's definitely a hint of fernet branca, plus truffles, boisenberries, and cola.
