Pretty closed and reductive upon opening, after 1hr of decant it really lets down it's defenses...
Wild strawberries, bright cherry, lots of violets, crushed gravel, flecks of tarragon, and no shortage of old mate Brett
Love the whole 'Burgundian' Beaujolais vibe going on. No carbonic fuckery afoot, just great gamay handled in the classic pinot manner
If you're ever looking for a bottle that demonstrates how brett can be additive to a wine, I think this is a great one to experiment with. Upon opening, it was pretty dominant, but once it breaths and the fruit wakes up, the brett adds this beautiful, savoury, earthy, funky backdrop that frames the bright, juicy fruit so well.
Given I'm pretty sensitive to brett, me enjoying this says a lot...

This is such a fun wine Trebbiano, Malvasia and Ansonica (Inzolia). Who knew I needed this in my life? Golden amber in the glass. On the palate; lemon verbena gallore, light figgy note, plenty of nuttiness, healthy dose of salinity, intriguing chemical quality (like Betadine, in the best way possible) and a reverberating skinsy, oxy sort feeling throughout, yet acid keeps it light on it's feet. Very savoury overall, screams for food (but not necessary by any means). Yet to have any wine from Antonio Camillo that misses the mark; they're all so complex, intriguing and soul-filled.

Gorgeous. Fruit, florals and meaty charcuterie-esque notes perfectly melded together. Only 1 bottle so can't make a considered comparison, but feels like it's at sitting in peak at the moment. Can't see it improving much more, but reckon it's still got a few years to go before dropping off
