    At first seeing the cork I was concerned this wine was going to be flawed. After a long tedious battle to open the bottle, a full cleaning of the inside neck of the bottle we poured off one glass to smell. Delight! After 1 hour decanting the wine showed that its ready. Dark cherries, dark plum and chocolate on the nose. Cranberries, sour cherries and soft tannins on the palate. The Cab Franc was definitely present. It could be better if cellared for a few more years but my opinion is that its ready now. A 90 because of how it has maintained all the fruit and the tannins.
