Opened, decanted, drank 1/2 with salmon dinner. Tasted like the grapes were picked before fully ripening. Slightly tart cherry flavor with a very savory level of sweetness. Vacuum stopper in bottle, waited 2 nights and the remaining 1/2 bottle completely converted to a fuller, fleshy, ripe grape, sweet cherry (without being jammy or cloying) more typical Oregon pinot noir. Lesson learned; a fantastic wine if given enough time to breath, and for this wine that seems to mean at least a day.

Freedom Hill fruit wasted by an overpowering alcohol level.

Must be bottle variation. My bottles all had a nasty finish representing a flaw in the wine.
