Think Beaujolais meets a little Pinot Noir. Light in color with a clear rim and very slight eye. A light and delicate wine - red fruits of Raspberry and Cassis. The middle palette wants a little more swish to enjoy the fruit. Finishes with a Pinot astringency at the very end and fruit comes back on the settle. A very nice wine.

This one is not for everyone. Very earthy - green pepper, barnyard, cedar bouquet that disguises the aroma. Initially non-descript and maybe a bit watery, but opens to the earth and then black fruits explode especially black berry with a hint of cedar and menthol with chewy tannins. The finish is long and evolving. Brickish color is starting to set and fruit is going, so I would assume to drink sooner than later.
