P&P. This was quite astringent on day 1 so I recorked and set aside for a couple days. Notes from day 3.
Great fruit, still ample tannin, but much smoother and more enjoyable than a couple days ago. Cassis liqueur, plum, tobacco and vanilla flavors. Drink now with several hour decant, or better yet wait until 2020, and enjoy through 2030.

Great wine with pulled pork and lobster mac 'n cheese. Cassis fruit, oak, tobacco and earth. Sweet finish, if somewhat gritty, of mocha. Drink now - 2025.

Intersting nose of dried fruits, some hints of new leather, and sweet baking spices. Sweet medium body with fresh acidity, somewhat aggressive tannins are a bit of a suprise right out of the bottle. Tannins improve a bit after an hour or so. Might give it a year or two in the cellar.
