Wow, this was really on tonight. Though I'd enjoyed it a year+ ago, this bottle was on point. The cork was a bit soft with some signs of seepage, but nothing severe. The wine was ruby red. This paired so perfectly with an Ottolenghi Portobello recipe with onion, celery, sundried tomato, parmesan and taleggio cheeses with tarragon. The touch of green / stem in this wine complemented it so well. I guess the pairing influences the score, but even on its own this was in a great place. Everything was in place for what this wine should be. Stellar QPR sub-$20 USD.

I thought this was a very solid Loire cab franc; light in weight be pretty food friendly. K did not like it very much, a bit to much barnyardy terroir for her. Wouldn't buy again.

Over the hill; dumped out. Tried against the 2009 which was much fresher and less funky

Excellent stuff. Took about 40 minutes for the fruit to show, but this was classic.
