Tried it at Pappas' Steakhouse Zin tasting. 14.9% alcohol. Medium minus to no acidity renders it a little flabby. Tannins are medium to medium plus. Big California fruit bomb with lots of oak. Not bad if you like this style.

First time I've ever said this but buttery popcorn on the nose. Loads of oak coming through. Massively fruit forward with a little spice coming through & pepper jammed in on the finish. Little to no acidity & velvety smooth finish. Nice moderate finish & big Cali fruit.

Full bodied Zin with notes of blackberries and plums. Tasted great with brisket chili on a winter’s night.
