this held up quite nice after being opened for a full day. same notes as last time pretty much. served slightly chilled. lovely pineapple and creamy pear and oak flavors. i've gotta admit, i love just sipping this chard. one of those wines that isn't really complex, but just pleasureable. probably wouldn't drop the $18 or so it retails for though.

golden yellow color with a big, tropical, oaky, vanilla nose. medium acidity and full-bodied on the palate. this chardonnay is creamy with lots of pineapple, pear and golden delicious apple and oak. medium finish, but the heat shows. (14.6% alcohol.) 60% of the wine was fermented in stainless steel, 40% was fermented in 30% new french oak barrels.six months on the lees with weekly batonnages.
