  The color shows a bright regarnet with slight orange around the rim. Aromas of earth, strawberry, raspberry and anise. The mid palate is a little thin, but the fruit is very nice with flavors of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. This wine displayed very intense fruit in its youth. The wine has aged very well and the fruit has remained. A very good Pinot that has held up over the past 15 years. I would not see any reason to hold any longer, but am impressed with how this has aged.

  Garnet color with significant orange at the rim. Earthy but fruit-driven nose of raspberries, sour cherries, mushrooms and anise. Light-to-medium bodied in the mouth with moderate tartness but lots of fruit and a smooth mid- and back-palate. I was impressed with how well this drank, and the fact that it held up well in the glass for over an hour. 50+4+11+17+7=89
