Takes about an hour to open up, but is well worth the wait. I enjoyed with loaded Nachos. Works great with spicy foods. This works as a cocktail wine after it opens up. I can’t overstate the wait.
Just opened tonight and have been pleasantly surprised. I have kept in a climate controlled cellar and I think it is now drinking at its peak. Fruity nose and on the pallet with a medium finish and light tannins. Really Good! Opened to have with Pot Roast, but is also good as a cocktail.

Oak still quite present, structured, dark fruits, some toast, maybe a touch of VA. Probably has some years left but i doubt this is going to evolve much more. I say grab a steak and get after it. Tasty if unremarkable.

Nice big jammy wine. Bigger than I expected, but not too extracted or hot. Alcohol is 14.5%. Tannins are nicely integrated at this point.
