Nose of leathery black fruit, dusty well worn wood and spice, browned butter, piney herbs, wet forest. On the palate, syrupy fruits - fig, stewed apricot, black cherry preserves. Tannin sings over espresso like syrup. Finishes dry and lively. Like this.

Interesting sweetness on the nose. Palate shows hints of characteristic Merlot, but also is jammy and tannic with mouthwatering acidity. Lots of oak on here. Sort of an interesting Bordeaux-y flavor? I think I might have to save my last bottle for another few years and see what happens, this could be quite good. Excellent value.
