  Very good Zin. Huge nose of raspberry jam, violet, rose, blackberry, and red currant. Hints of smoke and earthy notes. The palate is big, forward, rich, ripe, and yet balanced and elegant at the same time. The finish is quite good. A very good wine that is likely to get better.

  Purple; dense barnyard nose; dark fruits, blackberry, dark cherry, tar, substantive fruit without being cloying or jammy; not particularly tannic or acid; medium finish. While drinking excecptionally well now, I could see improvement over he next two to four years. This is exceptional juice with the fruit of Monte Rosso really showing well.
