90-91 $30 or under? wow! You high end CdP lovers might find this, "thin," but in it's own right, it's delicious and deserving for the price.
15% abv rears it's head on the nose but give it some time and you have a bright velvety mouth with tannins that evaporate off the tongue leaving a dry tea like finish.
medium body. red cherry, ripe raspberry, and even a hint of blueberry. i want to kick myself for saying it, but fresh Tennis Ball on the nose and palate. Salty Bacon. juniper.
not gamey or overly old world, but this is a delicious entry level, though maybe not the most characteristic CdP.

Made up, innocuous oaky, thin, some bouquet, no palate, with drying out tannin to boot. I can believe that RP gave this a 91, since he has pretty much lost it, but can't believe the other reviewers like this. If this is a 92 the top CDPs are 250 point wines!

hitting all of the high notes. Still strong fruit, but structure leads the way. Still has a few years at its peak.
