My expectations were low, but I am more and more convinced of Bouzereau's ageworthiness in Meursault. This was a bright lemony yellow, a bit of reduction, the wine opened with lots of lemon and a slight touch of oak. The palate followed through with bracing acidity, and the flavours are precise and vivid.
Nice mature Meursault. Drink or hold to 2020. 13% abv

Simple, nutty and slightly advanced. Acid is certainly present, not a bad wine, just seriously outclassed by the PYCM which followed.
